Bath Ballroom Weekend

Saturday & Sunday 30th & 31st May 2015, Bath

A fabulous weekend of Latin & Ballroom in the company of professional dance teachers James & Joanna including two days of workshops for existing dancers. The weekend will feature two dances: a formal evening ball hosted at the enormous Bath Pavilion, in central Bath, on Saturday 30th May 2015 with live band and cabaret from the multiple-World Professional Latin Champions Michael Malitowski & Joanna Leunis , and on Sunday, a wonderful Afternoon dance in the world famous Assembly Rooms ballroom.

11:30 - 12:10 Ballroom : Let it Swing
12:20 - 13:00 Ballroom : I've got Rhythm
14:00 - 14:40 Latin : One Moment in Time
14:50 - 15:30 Latin : Moving on Up

Note that there will be a small cash cafe open at the venue in the breaks between workshops, and sandwiches, jacket potatoes and similar available for lunches.

There is a strict evening dress code for this event of Formal Evening Wear / Black tie which we ask all attendees to participate in.

The Sunday workshops will run to the following timetable (information to be confirmed):

10:30 Doors Open
10:45 - 11:30 Argentine Tango - simple and stylish (for all levels)
11:45 - 12:30 An introduction to Paso Doble
14:00 - 14:45 An introduction to American Smooth

Afternoon Dance

Doors open 2.45pm, for 3pm until 5pm
Ballroom & Latin, some Sequence
Recorded music with dance hosts James & Joanna, Cafe for refreshments

Dress code smart ⁄ smart-casual.

Tickets :

The Saturday evening Ball is open seating however the seats will be in tables of ten and if you organise a group of ten we will be able to reserve your group table together. Please let us know at the time of booking. The Sunday afternoon dance is unreserved, open seating.
