Danny 'Boy' Collins returns to the wrestling ring!
Super-Star Wrestling returns to Bath on Sunday 14th September as the bone crunching grapplers from the Combat Sports Federation collide in six explosive contests at the Bath Pavilion. Wrestlers set to appear include the currant All Nations Heavyweight Champion Dave Mercy, the 6 foot 6, 20 stone masked star The Urban Warrior, high flying crowd favourite Canno Tangoe, Light-Heavyweight Champion Alex Steele, Tyler Brown, Odyssey, Dragon Asui and the Damned Nation, Stiro, James Baker and Mike Bird.
The Main Event for the evening will see a very special bout take place as two legends of the sport step into the wrestling ring against each other. The two brothers have both enjoyed a 25 year career which has seen them compete all over the world.
Danny Collins is one of the biggest names this country has ever produced, he has held World Titles in two weight classes and has had some classic battles against WWE star Finly, Rollerball Mark Rocco, Marty Jones and Owen Hart. Both Pete and Danny have fought at the Pavilion for several promotions over the years but it has been decided that CSF match makers will host their last encounter against one another right here at the Pavilion. 'Mr.Vain' has declared war on his younger Brother and has made it clear that he will come out victorious in their last ever meeting.
Doors open at 5pm with a first bell time of 5:30pm and a finish time of around 8pm. Tickets priced at £9 Adult / £7 Concessions are available on the door on the evening or in advance from the venue. Human Table Football Competition Human Table Football Competition – Register your team today!
From 6pm on Thursday 25th September the ‘Foresters Human Table Football’ evening will be taking place at the Bath Pavilion in aid of The Forever Friends Appeal’s NICU ‘space to grow’ Campaign. This fun and slightly crazy event involves being strapped to a pole on a giant inflatable football pitch! You can move sideways along the pole to reach the ball but not backwards or forwards.
A mini football tournament will take place on the night between all the registered teams and funds raised will be helping premature and desperately ill babies from across the region who are cared for at the RUH. All participants will receive a free dinner on the night. Friends, colleagues and family are welcome to come along to watch and the bar will be open!
We are looking for teams of six to raise a minimum sponsorship of £500 towards a new premature baby unit at the Royal United Hospital; this could be through corporate or individual sponsorship and would love to have you on board. Call Jo on 01225 825823 for more information or to register your team today.
